Barbara Minishi

Barbara Minishi is a Kenyan fashion photographer and art director with an interest in visual arts. As an art director, she has worked on films, a music video, and for Kapringen, a Danish feature film from 2003.

“Breathing Portraits, Breathe as language, Breathe as our common ground, Breathe as our individuality, Breathe as process and Practice, Breathe as collaboration, Breathe as Dance. Breathe as home and Exile” she says on her inspiration.

Osborne is a self-taught commercial and advertising digital artist based in Nairobi, Kenya. He has been part of Safaricom’s Capture Kenya project, got a bronze in the 2014 Loeries, has been a finalist in Hasselblad Masters (2015) and Cannes Lion (2015) and featured in many other global platforms.

Neil Thomas

Neil Thomas

Thomas is a Kenya-base photographer whose work spans across the continent of Africa and other destinations in Europe and Asia. His commercial/advertising work has been featured in publications such as Vanity Fair, Twende magazine, Ode magazine (NL), Travel News, Private (Italy), En France and several others. He studied in the UK, worked in South Africa and Amsterdam but returned to Kenya in 2000 to pursue photography as a full-time career.

Rahim Kara

Rahim Kara

Rahim is a highly skilled digital artist and certified Photoshop Expert who in 1993, began developing a passion for wildlife photography whilst constantly on the move camping in the wilder regions of East Africa, through his passion of nature and wildlife, he nurtured his photographic skills and now works with key corporate organizations in Kenya as well as major hotel groups in and around East Africa. Rahim has worked on several introduction tutorials and instructional online sessions to grow the novice community’s abilities in Kenya. Though working with corporate clients and weddings on occasion, Rahim still maintains that the natural landscape and wildlife are his true photographic love. He is currently the PAK secretary.

Teddy Mitchener

Teddy Mitchener

Teddy Mitchener is the head photographer at House of Fotography, based in Nairobi Kenya. A Washington DC native, Teddy is a self-taught photographer, having picked up his first camera in 1992 under the tutelage of his father, and now earns his living in Kenya primarily as a commercial photographer in the advertising, real estate, energy and communications industries. In 2015 he founded the African Photo Magazine, a showcase of the ideological diversity in African photography compared to the global scene.

Emmanuel Jambo

Born in Sudan, bred between Egypt and the US and refined in Kenya, graduated from Harold Washington College in Chicago. Emmanuel Jambo is a cosmopolitan creative undefined by boundaries. He is the recognizable face of fashion, commercial and wedding photographer who is also popularly known for taking the official Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta’s official portraits in 2012/2013. Emmanuel’s expertise ranges across the boards of photography and cinematography. His work has captured the runways of such global platforms like the London Fashion Week among others.
